After work, I stopped at the UQ campus to take some photos of the Jacarandas in bloom. Tourists stopping by in Brisbane come to see these, as UQ has some of the biggest plantations in Queensland. A myth among students at UQ is that if a jacaranda flower falls on your head, you'll fail an upcoming exam. Luckily, I made it through my degree without any flowers falling on me...
